Books closed by the 10th.
Same rhythm every month. You send what you've got, we chase what's missing once, and the month is reconciled and closed before the 10th — so there is no year-end scramble, because there is nothing left to scramble.
By the 5th — We chase what's missing. Once, with a list, and not again after that
By the 10th — Reconciled, categorised, month closed
By the 12th — One page: what came in, what went out, who owes you
Quarter end — Your return prepared and sent to you to approve before anything is filed
Year end — The file reaches your accountant tidy, first time, with nothing coming back
Sending us the receipt — Yours — we can't book what we never see
Chasing your customers — Ours, if you add credit control
Paying the bill — Yours. We never hold your money and never touch your card
Preparing the return — Ours to prepare, yours to approve, your accountant's to sign
Deciding what you owe — The tax office, from the rules and your own numbers. Not us.

Call us for
The day-to-day: receipts, bank reconciliation, invoices out, suppliers, payroll, the quarterly return prepared, and the year-end file made tidy.
Call an accountant for
The signed annual return, company structure, tax planning — anything where somebody has to put their name to advice. We work alongside yours happily, or introduce you to one.
Call nobody who promises
A smaller tax bill before they have seen a single number. What you owe is set by the rules and by what the business did. Anyone promising otherwise is selling you a risk with a discount on the front.
“Eighteen months behind and dreading the first call. They asked three questions, gave me a date, and never once made me feel stupid about it.”

“My accountant's exact words were 'whoever does your books, keep them'. It used to take her a fortnight to unpick our year.”
