Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day refund on your first subscription payment, no questions asked. Here is exactly how it works and where the limits are.

This document is not final — 2 details still needed

  • Registered legal entity: This is the product name, not a registered company. The Terms need the entity that actually contracts with the customer — the one on the Paddle merchant account.
  • Registered business address: Consumer law in the UK/EU requires a real trading address on the terms, and Paddle checks it during verification. “Available on request” does not satisfy either.

1. The 14-day refund

If you are within 14 days of your first payment for a paid plan, email us and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason.

14 days is the statutory cooling-off period for digital services in the EU and the UK. We apply it to every customer, wherever you are, rather than checking your country first. If your local law gives you a longer or stronger right, that law wins and we will honour it.

2. How to request one

Email support@ryabils.com from the address on your account, and include the email address of the account and the approximate date of the charge. That is all we need.

We aim to reply within two business days. Once approved, Paddle.com Market Ltd — our merchant of record, who processed your payment — returns the money to your original payment method. Their banking timelines apply, and this typically takes 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement. You may also contact Paddle directly about a payment they processed.

3. Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically, and Paddle emails you a receipt each time. If a renewal catches you by surprise, tell us within 14 days of the charge and you had not meaningfully used the service during that period — no meaningful traffic, no new links — and we will refund it. We would rather refund a renewal you did not want than keep money from someone who stopped using the product.

To avoid renewals entirely, cancel before the term ends. Cancelling stops future charges; your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.

4. Cancellation, downgrades and mid-term changes

  • Cancelling does not itself trigger a refund. You keep access until the end of the paid term, then the account reverts to the Free plan.
  • Downgrading mid-term does not refund the difference. The lower price takes effect at your next renewal.
  • Upgrading mid-term is prorated: you pay only the difference for the remainder of the term.
  • Annual plans are covered by the same 14-day window as monthly ones. After that window we do not refund the unused months, except in the cases in section 5.

5. When we refund outside the window

Some situations get a refund regardless of how much time has passed:

  • We broke something. A sustained outage or a defect that stopped you using what you paid for, and that we could not fix in a reasonable time — we refund the affected period.
  • We removed something. If we materially reduce the functionality of your paid plan, you can cancel and we will refund the unused portion of your term on a pro-rata basis.
  • You were charged twice for the same period, or charged after a cancellation took effect. Tell us and we will return it.
  • Someone used your card without permission. Contact us and Paddle; we will refund it and secure the account.

6. When we do not refund

Being straight with you about the limits, so nothing here is a surprise:

  • Requests made more than 14 days after the charge, where none of the situations in section 5 apply.
  • Accounts we terminated for breaching our Acceptable Use rules — phishing, malware, spam, illegal content. We do not refund abuse.
  • The Free plan, which costs nothing. Try the product there before you pay; that is what it is for.
  • Third-party costs you incurred elsewhere, such as a domain you registered with your own registrar. We did not charge you for those and cannot return them.
  • Dissatisfaction with a feature that the pricing page and documentation accurately described, after the refund window has passed.

7. What happens to your data

A refund does not automatically delete your account. Your links keep resolving on the Free plan, subject to its limits — we will not break traffic that is already flowing because you asked for money back. If you want the account and its data deleted as well, say so in your email and we will action it. See the Privacy Policy for retention detail.

8. Please email us before a chargeback

If something is wrong with a charge, email support@ryabils.com first. A chargeback takes weeks, costs both sides fees, and usually ends with the same refund we would have issued in two days. We are not trying to talk you out of your rights — we just want to fix it faster than your bank can.
